What to expect from WWDC 2020

    
    As we all know that WWDC 2020 is going to be a digital event because of the corona virus. This digital event is planned to start on June 22 at 10:00 a.m. Lets get right in to the expected and rumored announcements from this year's WWDC.

iOS 14
  • Messages may get an option to mark as unread along with @mentions for group chats.
  • Safari is rumored to get a built-in translation feature.
  • Apple has been working on a fitness app for guided workouts which is expected to be announced at WWDC.
  • Users might finally be able to set default apps of their own choice.
  • iOS 14 is rumored to allow users to organize their apps with a list-view option, making it easier to scroll and see everything in one spot, rather than in rows and columns. 
ARM based Mac    
    Apple is expected to announce its planned shift to Arm-based Macs but the first Arm-based Macs won't be coming until 2021. Apple plans to bring its custom designed chips to its entire Mac lineup in the future which will show gains in graphics performance and apps using artificial intelligence.

iMac
    Apple is rumored to be planning to unveil a new iMac at WWDC which has not changed much in design since 2012. Aesthetically, the redesigned system is expected to be more in line with the iPad Pro and thinner bezels similar to the bezels on the Pro Display XDR. The iMac will include a T2 chip for security and controller functions, plus it will use an AMD Navi GPU and all-flash storage with Apple eliminating the Fusion Drive. Intel's Comet Lake chips are expected to be the power plant for the new iMac.

watchOS
    watchOS 7 will bring new watch face features, parental controls, and more. The watchOS 7 would allow parents to which apps can be used during specific hours. According to a code found in a leaked version of iOS 14, Apple is working on a watchOS 7 and Apple Watch Series 6 feature that will allow the Apple Watch to detect blood oxygen levels.
