The PlayStation 5 looks funny but it doesn't matter. Here's why

    The PlayStation 5 isn't anything pretty to look at, rather it's more or less the opposite since all the people seem to think of it as ugly and they are right because when you look at its predecessor, the PlayStation 4, the PlayStation 5 just doesn't look appealing. It looks like a wifi router as far as I am concerned. 

    The PlayStation 5 memes have started all over the internet but it won't change the fact that the PlayStation 5 is going to be sitting in millions of homes around the world because it's all about getting used to it like everyone got used to iPhone's weird notch.

    The Xbox Series X has an advantage over the PlayStation 5 in terms of power and looks more aesthetic. It seems to me that the design team responsible for the PlayStation 5 wasn't sure what they were trying to achieve. Because the design, apparently, doesn't seem to help with cooling.

    The square shaped state of the Series X has permitted Microsoft to press a genuinely standard PC fan in. At around 130mm wide, this fan will move a great deal of air while running at generally low RPMs. The PS5's design doesn't seem to consider anything of the sort. Sony could be utilizing a vapor chamber but the airflow situation will be very different. This is just hypothesis and speculation.

    Assuming Sony has done its calculations right then the weird design won't matter. The decision between the Xbox Series X and the PlayStation 5 would come down to games, prices and personal preferences.
