Samsung unveiled prices for its Odyssey gaming monitors



    Samsung first revealed its Odyssey gaming monitors at CES 2020, and it's curves surely caught a lot of eyes. Samsung just unveiled the pricing for the Odyssey monitors. These come in two models i.e. Odyssey G9 (the flagship model) and the Odyssey G7 (the budget model).

    The flagship model, the Odyssey G9, boasts dual-quad (5120 x 1440) 32:9 display, has a 49-inch diagonal, a 1000r curve, 240Hz refresh rate and HDR1000 brightness levels. It uses Samsung's QLED technology which allows for brighter and more realistic shades and hues for vivid game visuals. It's shipping for $1,700 in white color with black accents. Currently available at samsung.com  and selected retailers.


    The budget model, which is in no way budget, is the Odyssey G7 which comes in 27-inch and 32-inch screen sizes. Both VA panels run at 2560 x 1,440 resolution with a 16:9 aspect ratio with HDR and brightness levels up to 600 nits. The G7 comes in a matte black exterior as opposed to white on the G9. Though both the G9 and the G7, have blue lighting accents at the back. The Odyssey G7 is available for $700 for the 27-inch and $800 for the 32-inch screen size.
